2011 Youth and Philanthropy Awards
The 2011 United Way of Tompkins County Youth and Philanthropy Council XII, composed of 20 students within Tompkins Seneca and Tioga County BOCES District. Thanks to Park Foundation funding and their continued support of the program, the Youth and Philanthropy students awarded $25,000 in one-time grants to the following initiatives:

Access Scholarship Fund
Finger Lakes ReUse, Inc.: $3,000

Catholic Charities of Tompkins/Tioga: $3,500
Diapers for Families in Need
Child Development Council: $2,735
Shared Assessment Project
Southside Community Center: $2,615
Chair and Table Upgrades
Suicide Prevention and Crisis Services: $500
Crisisline Volunteer Training – Marketing for Volunteer Recruitment
Ithaca Health Alliance: $5,000
Free Clinic Preventative Care
All Tompkins County nonprofits are eligible to apply for Youth and Philanthropy funds. Grants are awarded to quality programs and services that demonstrate substantiated need, clear goals, effective collaborations, and measurable outcomes.
