Community Grants
Ithaca College Stone Soup Philanthropy Corps
The Stone Soup Philanthropy Corps is a new student partnership with United Way of Tompkins County. The hope of this program is to generate money through event sponsorship, campus alliances, and its connection with the Ithaca College faculty United Way campaign. Once funds have been collected, trained IC students will review applications from Ithaca community non-profits, and allocate monetary grants to those in need.
We strongly believe that through the combined efforts of all Ithaca College organizations, we can make a larger impact on the community.
Stone Soup Philanthropy Corps mission statement:
We exist to provide a repository and allocation service for Ithaca College organizations to place charitable funds, believing in the values of student leadership, philanthropy, and cooperation so that the collective efforts of campus organizations might better serve worthy Tompkins County non-profit organizations.
This year we have $3,000 to allocate toward full or partial funding of program-related expenses.
Please review the attached Grant Criteria. For additional information, please contact Meg Cole, 272-6286.
