Corporate Cornerstone Partners

The Corporate Cornerstone Partners Program was created to support United Way of Tompkins County's administrative and operating expenses. Thanks to our generous Corporate Cornerstone Partners, 100% of our donors' gifts are building and supporting health and human services and programs in our communities.

History of Corporate Cornerstone Partners Program

The Corporate Cornerstone Partners (CCP) Program started in 2006 with the motivation of UWTC volunteers and staff.  The CCP took effect in 2007, covering 91% of all administrative and operating expenses (for every dollar donated, $0.09 went to administrative costs). Since 2008, 100% of every gift given to UWTC's Community Care Fund, 42 member organizations, special initiatives, or another UW, goes directly to support those programs and services.

Corporate Cornerstone Partners are recognized in UWTC publications and community events, including UWTC's Annual Report, which is distributed to community members. By becoming a CCP, local businesses demonstrate their community leadership and support by ensuring that United Way is run efficiently and that contributed and earned resources are managed and distributed effectively for maximum results.
