"Little Apple" Fall Follies

The Rotary Club of Ithaca and the Savage Club are pleased to announce their third annual "Little Apple" Fall Follies (LAFF) on Friday, September 28 at 7:30 pm. The two-hour family-friendly performance will be held at the State Theatre of Ithaca and features more than 20 stage acts, ranging from local singing groups and instrumental numbers to rock and jazz bands.

Tickets are $12 and are available now at the State Theatre box office or Ithaca Wegmans. All proceeds benefit the Rotary and Savage Club community grant programs, which promote the quality of life in Tompkins County and the greater Ithaca area. LAFF is part of the 30th annual Downtown Ithaca Apple Harvest Festival, which runs September 28 – 30, 2012.

Presented by the community for the community, the evening’s line-up has something to please every age group. This year, LAFF will feature Running to Places youth theatre, Mostly Motown, the Armstrong School of Dance, and Hilby, the skinny German Juggle Boy. Also featured are local performers and musicians, including the incomparable Ed Clute on piano. Many of the artists are members of the Rotary and/or Savage Clubs.
