
Biography:
Laura joined UWTC in 2018. She was a psychology major at Bard College, Annadale-on-Hudson, NY. She went on to work for Markel Insurance Company in Richmond, VA for 10 years in the Agriculture Division before relocating back to upstate New York. Her favorite Tompkins County activities are visiting the lake and relaxing while taking in the beautiful scenery. Laura is known for her tales of caring for the many wild animals that flock to her country home. She regularly tends to the birds, squirrels, racoons, opossums, and the 4 feral cats that come on a daily basis. She shares her home with a 14-year-old Siberian Forest Cat named Buddha who rules the roost!
