United Way of Tompkins County Community Campaign Surpasses One Million Dollar Mark on the way to a $2,037,800 Goal

Thanks to the generosity of our community United Way of Tompkins County has surpassed the million dollar mark as we continue to make progress towards our campaign goal of $2,037,800! This important milestone has been achieved through the support of individuals, families, businesses, and non profits across Tompkins County.

“As we pass the million dollar milestone, it is clear that those who have already given to the United Way have created a momentum of caring and generosity that will help propel us through the remainder of the campaign,” said Joe Mareane, Tompkins County Administrator and Chair of the 2016/17 United Way Community Campaign.

As we continue to push towards our goal, we want to take a moment to thank everyone who has contributed in the early stages of our campaign. Your donations will make a concrete difference improving the health, financial stability, and education of individuals and families across our community.
