Biography:
Anne joined UWTC in July 2023. She is a graduate of Baruch College in NYC where she earned her BBA in Accountancy. Anne values details, consistency, and accuracy. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends.
Anne’s Why:
I grew up in a family with 2 siblings. We shared our clothes and food, for there were not sufficient sources to support the growth of our family. I grew up in the city with a lot of people who came from different parts of the world. I believe everyone deserves to grow up in a happy and healthy society. So, I studied hard, worked hard, and now love to serve our community and help others. When I was in college, I went to the food bank to serve dinners for the homeless. I worked as an IRS and NYS volunteer tax preparer for low-income individuals and families and joined the Red Cross for their blood drive donation. On weekends, I volunteered to serve the seniors on Senior Day in the Welfare Center and worked with kids in their summer camps. On some other weekends, I also volunteered to work for the Lutheran Medical Center for five years. I have also been the President of the Board for a six-unit condominium in NYC for many years. If you ask me to use three words to describe myself, my answer is “get work done”. As I do my part, would you like to join me to serve our people and our community through UWTC to get the work done?
